The Veterinary Dental Clinic of NC is seeking an individual who would love to learn and grow in a highly technical environment. We are a dentistry referral hospital located in a beautiful 4,000 square-foot facility with all of the bells and whistles, including:
- Cone beam CT scanner in a dedicated CT suite
- Surgery suite
- Large open treatment area with two-story height ceilings, upfitted with dedicated outlets for O2, compressed air & scavenging for multiple dental tables
- Fully-equippedin-house lab withIdexxanalyzers, centrifuge, microscope,etc
- IV pumps dedicated to each dental station and surgery suite
- Anesthesia machines dedicated to each dental station and surgery suite
- CRI pumps
- Multiparameter monitors for each station and the surgery table (EtCO2, SpO2, BP, Temp, HR, RR, ECG)
- Ventilators
- Piezotome
- Dedicated training space for wet labs, equipped with eleven stations, each with its own high speed hand piece.

Position Skills:
- Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
- Nursing skills including restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
- Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Position Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associate's degree in veterinary technology

Pay range of $25.00 - $28.00/hr based on experience
