Come join our surgical, internal medicine, and urgent care team and get the opportunity to work alongside board-certified surgeons, internists, and highly skilled emergency doctors as well as our incredibly talented RVTs and assistants in an established but growing surgical, internal medicine, and urgent care practice.

Our team is seeking an experienced front-office client care representative. All candidates must have a minimum of 2 years in an emergency or specialty animal hospital environment.

Must be able/willing to work swing shifts, weekends, and some holidays.

Core Competencies

· Moderate to intermediate knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and medications

· Ability to manage front office phones and incoming clients

· Experience obtaining/documenting patient condition and history for the doctor. Triage emergency patients.

· Ability to provide professional and compassionate customer service

· Superb communication skills with clients, doctors, and staff

· Must thrive in a team environment

· Exceptional organizational skills to keep the work environment tidy, as well as to perform assignments efficiently.

· Experience performing financial transactions

· Knowledge of EzyVet, and Smartboards are a plus!

This position is a 4/10-hour workweek. We are open on weekends and most holidays. Generous weekend differential $8.00/hr

· 2 years of Veterinary Hospital Experience

· Be able to stoop, bend, twist, reach, and safely restrain different species of animals.

· Be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 Lbs. and balance, at times.

· Stand or Sit for sufficient periods of time to actively engage in clinical requirements
