Description:

Sytem Administrator:

The client requires the services of a Sytem Administrator to perform tasks associated with the build/deploy processes and environment management for the application.
The client requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as System Administrator to support the implementation and maintenance of portfolio applications.
This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the build and deploy processes for the client applications by preparing and executing build scripts and troubleshooting build related issues for the portfolio applications.
This responsibility involves build activities for large number of different test, development and production environments utilized by the portfolio program applications. It encompasses web layer configurations, Red hat Linux/CentOS and Windows operating systems, the IBM WebSphere application configurations with clustering, IBM IHS Web servers, and other related products.
This resource will provide technical consultation to developers and solution engineers for branches & Merges, Maintenance of the environment and its statuses.
This is a Systems Administrator requiring the assistance of a contract resource to serve as System Administrator to support the implementation and maintenance of portfolio applications with knowledge experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss.

Skills :

Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss - Required - 5 Years
Knowledge and experience working with following operating systems: AIX, RHEL, and Windows Servers. - Required - 5 Years
Knowledge and experience in name and ip-based virtual hosts, and clustering/load-balancing technologies. - Required - 2 Years
Knowledge and experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment. - Required - 5 Years
Knowledge and experience in container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS, et al), and security configuration. - Required - 2 Years
Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc - Required - 3 Years
Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible, UNIX shell script, Perl, Python, etc. - Required - 2 Years
Experience and/or certification in cloud platform like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform - Highly desired -
Knowledge on Bitbucket/Git Configurations, Branching and Merging. - Highly desired - 1 Years
