Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for testing and release of raw materials and finished products as per company's standard operating procedures and industry guidelines.
  • Assist in research & development and the continual improvement of products.
  • Keep apprised of developments in industry and chemical streams.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the analytical data generated for samples are accurate, precise and in compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.
  • Document testing, observations, deviations, OOS investigation and results clearly and completely.
  • Read and understand internal SOPs and analytical procedures.
  • Occasionally write standard operating procedures and analytical methods.
  • Assures that all laboratory functions are performed in a safe manner, following all relevant company and department safety rules and procedures. Assures that good housekeeping is maintained in the laboratory and other work places.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.



Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry
  • Preferred experience in Organic Chemistry

Work Environment:

  • Primarily work in lab and office environment. Will be expected to spend time at blending facility and warehouse. Occasional extended hours and travel may be required.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test.
