Equipment Operator – White Oak Landfill (Monroe, LA)
Pay: $21–$22 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 6:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Occasional Saturdays: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
About the Opportunity
Waste Connections is hiring a dependable Equipment Operator to support daily operations at the White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to keeping our landfill running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Operate heavy equipment including trackhoes, dozers, compactors, off-road dump trucks, and tractors
Serve as a spotter to ensure safe movement of vehicles and personnel
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Pull, spread, and compact trash
Haul and place dirt as needed
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience operating dozers and trackhoes
Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in all weather
Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
