The Telecommunications Engineer researches, develops, designs, and evaluates communications systems and equipment to develop integrated systems comprised primarily of COTS electrical components and assemblies and support installation and test efforts as required. Candidates are expected to have a technical understanding/expertise to oversee design and integration efforts for Mission Control Centers, Telemetry Control Rooms, and Data Centers. Relevant experience with technologies related to Audio/Visual distribution, voice communications, telemetry signal processing, and data networks is required. Candidate will lead design and integration activities by developing solutions that balance cost, technical, and schedule risk against the assigned project scope. Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
Design, integration, and prototyping experience related to Telemetry, audio-visual solutions, VoIP communications, and networks.
Experience developing integrated solutions intended for classified operation within secure compartmentalized areas. Required Skills:

Mechanical aptitude, ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings.

Participate in developing project plans, test plans, and writing test reports; assist with creating, maintaining, and revising product project plans and effectively communicate project deadlines.
