About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst on the Application Security Governance Team.In this role, you will:Developing and implementing application security governance processes.Design and implementation of security controls and measures to protect applications from threatsConduct regular reviews of application security controls to identify gaps and areas of improvements.Maintain Application Security reports and dashboards to track KRIs and KPIsAnalyze data from various security tools and system to identify trends and anomaliesCoordinate responses to regulatory examiners, auditors, and risk management inquiriesCollaborate with cross function teams to define metrics and ensure data accuracyParticipate in developing communication strategy for application security teams and stakeholdersInfluence stakeholders on net new or on material changes to an asset to influence control decisionsProvide consulting on security risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategiesAct as more experienced lead to the organization to develop security risk awareness and mitigating actionsConsult the organization on complex security issues and findingsManage the most complex and critical information assetsEvaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate with more experienced leaders in decision making on information securityCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects and teamsCoordinate with vendor manager on third party assets to manage information security risksServe as a mentor to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years working in cybersecurity with knowledge of risk and control.Knowledge of SDLC and experience with secure coding practicesProficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools such as Jira, Excel, Tableau, Power BIStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailsKnowledge of Cybersecurity frameworkDesired Qualifications:Working knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for financial institutions (FFIEC guidance, OCC circulars, NIST standards, etc.)Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to senior management and non-technical audiencesExperience working in financial services or similarly regulated industryJob Expectations:Ability to work onsite in one of the listed location at least three times per week in a hybrid model.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
