Key Functions:
Ensure the safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and taking measures to proactively address concerns
Actively oversee, develop, and participate in preventative maintenance activities and ensure effective communication across & between shifts and with the production teams
Build detailed job plans for maintenance team job plans
Have work orders kitted/staged and all parts issued for work plans
Utilize preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime
Efficient use of reliable troubleshooting methods to ensure uptime, production volume and quality goals are met
Continuous improvement efforts involving maintenance and production crews in problem solving to maximize facility improvement in safety, housekeeping, waste reduction, quality, productivity and cost
Use computer-based programs to support effective prioritization of maintenance requests, manage maintenance inventory, and delegate maintenance resources
Identifying safety, environmental, quality and production issues
Identifying measures to minimize cost and reduce waste
Providing backup support to maintenance supervisors to lead & direct electrical maintenance activities and work assignments
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum of three (3) years experience in an electrical maintenance position
Work related experience in leading and ensuring compliance with safety initiatives
Knowledgeable in the areas of electrical & mechanical processes & troubleshooting
Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods
Ability to identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all associates
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making skills
Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, other windows based programs and internet skills
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo, SAP, or other CMMS applications
Must be willing to work holidays as needed, be “on-call” and provide rotating weekend support as schedule requires
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at heights should conditions warrant
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical, Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience in wood products manufacturing
What We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $62,884-$94,256 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
