As an Executive Assistant, engage with us as you use your exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage the day-to-day logistics of the Vice President of Brand Marketing.

 

You will be working at our Corporate Headquarters office in Battle Creek, MI. In this role, you will be supporting the high energy, fast paced environment that is built around customer service. Up for the challenge? Then keep reading!

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Be a Go-Getter – In this role, you will provide general office support to the VP and Brand Marketing team. And we need you to be pro-active about it. Here, you will come to learn the needs of the business and will need to think one step ahead of the rest. And be confident in thinking independently. We believe in you!
  • Talk the Talk – Communication is key. Interpersonal communications skills are necessary, and you will need to maintain a sense of confidentiality.
  • Sticking to a Schedule – You will help to schedule meetings and video conference calls. But don’t forget, we’re a part of the commercial organization so your collaboration skills will be put to the test in coordinating schedule variances with sometimes multiple people and locations.
  • Keeping Organized – Busy schedules means a lot of moving parts. We are looking to hone in on your organizational skills to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work under pressure with time constraints when those periods arise.
  • Cross- Functional Collaboration – Partner with the Procurement Team. Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) as well as, create journal entries for accruals and cost reallocations.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience supporting senior management as an Administrative Assistant
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite; ability to create spreadsheets, write documents, and manipulate presentation software as well as standard office equipment
  • Ability to accommodate a highly varied work schedule, (i.e. some evening and weekend hours are occasionally necessary)
  • Must be self-starter; able to work independently with minimal to no supervision
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, interpersonal communications, and ability to maintain
  • PO management experience is a PLUS
