ServiceNow Programmer/Developer (Level II) – ICE Headquarters
ICE Headquarters, 500 12th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20024 Duties to include but not limited to the following: • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet
business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and
ServiceNow scripting languages.
• Design and implement integrations with third-party systems and tools using ServiceNow APIs and
web services.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and debugging of ServiceNow applications to ensure quality and
reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
• Stay updated on latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices, and apply them to
enhance existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and solution architects,
to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint
retrospectives.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production environments. Required Skills/Experience:
• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including configuration, customization, and
scripting.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
• Ability to design and implement complex workflows, business rules, and integrations within the
ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs, data imports/exports, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as incident management, change management, and
CMDB.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in ServiceNow development or a related field. Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering ServiceNow solutions in a professional environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
