Your New Role

  • Perform residential HVAC service, repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting throughout Crestwood, KY and the surrounding Louisville service area

  • Identify heating and cooling system issues quickly and recommend effective solutions

  • Install, maintain, repair, and modify residential HVAC equipment and related components

  • Complete inspections and operational testing to verify systems are functioning safely and efficiently

  • Perform preventative maintenance to help homeowners avoid unexpected system failures

  • Handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations and industry standards

  • Perform all work under a valid Journeyman HVAC License while following applicable HVAC, mechanical, and safety codes

  • Provide guidance and code compliance support to apprentices and technicians when needed

  • Clearly explain repair options, maintenance recommendations, and available services to homeowners

  • Confirm all repairs and installations are operating properly before leaving each job

  • Maintain an organized company vehicle and properly care for company tools and equipment

  • Use company pricing resources to present solutions and discuss available service memberships

  • Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and team events

  • Follow company safety expectations and professional standards

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call

  • At least three years of residential HVAC service experience

  • EPA Certification required

  • Valid Journeyman HVAC License required

  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and installation

  • Ability to work independently while following applicable HVAC, mechanical, and safety codes

  • Experience providing direction and support to apprentices or less experienced technicians

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate degree is a plus but not required

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Working knowledge of current HVAC codes, regulations, and industry best practices

  • Ability to safely operate HVAC equipment, power tools, and testing instruments

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds and perform physical job duties

  • Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, on ladders, in crawl spaces, and in varying weather conditions

  • Candidates who live within approximately 30 minutes of the Crestwood or Louisville metro area are encouraged to apply
