What You'll Do
Design and program building automation systems and DDC controls
Review project drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation
Select system components such as controllers, sensors, actuators, and valves
Develop wiring diagrams and control drawings using Visio
Program DDC controllers and build user interfaces
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and optimize system performance on site
Configure HVAC controls and BAS integrations
Support system startup, testing, and optimization
Diagnose controls and communication issues
Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and customers
Maintain accurate documentation and system records
Preferred Experience
1-2 years of experience in building automation, BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, or a related technical field
High school diploma or equivalent
Hands-on experience programming DDC controllers
Experience creating control drawings using Visio
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and mechanical/electrical schematics
Understanding of networking and system integrations
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience with building automation platforms such as:
Niagara / Tridium
Johnson Controls
Siemens
Honeywell
Distech
Alerton
Valid driver's license
Ability to remain tobacco free while on job sites
