Your New Role
Lead the day to day operations of the residential HVAC service department in West Austin, Texas.
Supervise and support residential service technicians, maintenance technicians, and service sales team members.
Monitor technician productivity, customer satisfaction, department performance, and key performance indicators.
Provide coaching on residential HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, customer communication, service procedures, and sales performance.
Support growth in residential HVAC service revenue, maintenance agreements, indoor air quality solutions, and replacement opportunities.
Review service calls, estimates, invoices, job notes, and photos to maintain quality standards.
Conduct ride alongs, provide field support, assist with technical training, and help technicians continue developing their skills.
Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Work closely with dispatch, installation, office staff, construction teams, and ownership to improve efficiency.
Track important performance metrics including callback rates, close rates, average ticket value, maintenance conversions, and profitability.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee retention.
Promote a culture centered on teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

Minimum of 5 years of HVAC industry experience with a strong background in residential service.
Previous experience in HVAC service management, service leadership, or HVAC operations management.
Strong understanding of residential HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, airflow, comfort solutions, system performance, and indoor air quality.
Proven ability to coach technicians and improve both service quality and sales performance.
Experience managing department key performance indicators, operational metrics, and profitability goals.
Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to succeed in a fast paced, growth focused environment.
Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
Experience using ServiceTitan or similar HVAC service management software is preferred.
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Ability to provide field support and complete ride alongs with technicians when needed.
