Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to provide high level network and cloud infrastructure support to the United States Space Force's Space Test and Training Command's National Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Clearance Requirement: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility with the ability to obtain or maintain a counterintelligence polygraph. (Polygraph is not required but can be used if the individual has completed it favorably) Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado - Onsite - Downtown Colorado Springs and or Peterson's SFB Hours: M-F with flexible mornings Program Length: 10 years (currently 1 year into 10) Program Posture: SETA Responsibilities: - Support definition, acquisition, and management of the multiple different networks, at all classification levels to include SAP/SAR, that NSTTC needs to develop, acquire, field, and operate range capabilities (Examples: Software Development, operations, systems engineering & analysis) - Guiding the creation and management of cloud application development and operations resources including Virtual Private Connections (VPC) and Virtual Machines (VM) IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (compute, storage network, security, security administration, automation, application services, databases) in either native cloud or hybrid-cloud environments - Facilitating development of Infrastructure as Code and supporting deployments
Advising the Government on the current and future IT infrastructure needs of the NSTTC, to include data centers that meet NSTTC requirements - Supporting requirements development and technical evaluations of proposals - Identify potential risks within the architecture and working with the government on mitigations - Develop and maintaining a vision of next steps of the NSTTC IT Infrastructure Qualifications for the Infrastructure Engineer: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 14+ years of relevant experience - Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph (TS/SCI at minimum required to start) - Experience with establishing and managing data centers - Experience in establishing and managing classified networks - Experience in engineering technical solutions to meet infrastructure, IT, and mission needs Desired Qualifications: - Master's Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field - Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area - Experience with migrating both customer build and enterprise apps to the cloud from on-prem - Experience working with agile scrum teams - Experience with cloud services and infrastructure automation Compensation: - Pay Range: $140,000 - $170,000 (depending on experience, education, and other factors) - Benefits: Cigna health, dental, vision, 401k, additional benefits - Time Off: 15 Days paid time off with 11 federal holidays
