The Data Governance & Management Oversight team oversees bank-wide programs to help senior management in identifying, assessing, and monitoring data related risks. Working in Risk Management is a unique opportunity and establishes a great foundation for a banking career, as interns are exposed to the broad scope of the bank and its operations.The intern will work with Data, Technology, & Cybersecurity Risk Oversight team members to assist in the facilitation of process development and implementation. The role also requires assisting in the development of reports and memos for sharing with stakeholders. The intern helps provide analysis and critical thinking necessary to enhance and carry out Zions Bancorporation's Risk Management Framework. Responsibilities include those listed below.

Develop and implement processes related to data, technology, and cyber risk oversight Respond timely to stakeholder requestsPrepare reports reflecting important trends and risks to the enterpriseThe environment is dynamic, as Risk Interns frequently communicate with stakeholders, including issue owners and executives (on both micro and macro levels).Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree.Strong academic performanceExcellent critical thinking and data analytics skillsExcellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong project management skillsAbility to work effectively on a team and independently in various capacitiesAbility to work and deliver outputs under tight deadlinesKnowledge of Microsoft applications and other database, analysis, and reporting toolsKnowledge/experience in audit, risk management, compliance, financial services, or other related areas is a plusZions Bancorporation's Internship and Banker Development Program positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa).
