    Position Overview:

    Coach USA, one of the largest transportation companies in North America, is seeking an entry level Treasury/Corporate Accountant to support the businesses of our various companies. This person will perform various daily treasury management functions, work on elements of the month-end close, assist with budget preparation and updates, and assist with audits. This person will support the Corporate Controller and Senior VP of Finance, and bring a high energy, motivated work ethic to an established team of finance professionals.

    Essential Functions:

    • Analyze daily cash transactions and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
    • Support daily cash management activities across banking portals, ensuring efficient and accurate processing
    • Serve as the primary treasury liaison with other departments and subsidiary business units, addressing bank inquiries and operational issues
    • Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger review for monthly close process
    • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts
    • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
    • Liaise with external auditors and financing counterparties, responding to requests for information in support of audits and tax preparation
    • Manage the company credit card process
    • Maintain complete adherence to internal processes, protocols and controls
    • Performs special projects and other duties as needed


    Required Skills:

    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
    • Solid understanding of accounts payable, receivables, cash management, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset accounting
    • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Understanding of internal controls and reconciliations
    • Some experience using Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
