The Commercial Manager will focus on developing opportunities for growth, maintaining client relationships, and developing action plans to improve performance. This role can be fully remote; however, we have a strong preference for candidates who are based near our headquarters in Waltham, MA.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years in commercial or business development experience in the midstream/downstream energy sector.

    • Strong at building and maintaining relationships and networks within industry and internal stakeholders

    • Knowledge of creative deal structures and commercial acumen

    • Basic financial acumen

    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

    • Extensive experience in customer-facing positions in the industry

    • Effective across multiple mediums of communication (face-to-face, email, phone, video calls)

    • Strong strategic thinking skills

    • Understanding of differences in risk between large vs. small scale deals

    • Must be comfortable with approximately 25% - 30% of travel

     

    Education Requirement 

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering or related field required

    • Master’s degree in business (MBA) preferred
