Since 1996 Skydive Monterey Bay has become one of the most popular skydiving centers in the world. Offering our breathtaking views of the Monterey Peninsula, state-of the art equipment and professional and courteous team of Instructors and staff, we are the Premiere Skydiving Center for your First Time Skydiving Experience!
Offices are open seven days a week, all year round. SMB welcomes thousands of first time and experienced skydivers every year. Safety is the highest priority at SMB. As a Group Member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA.org), which is recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration, SMB follows all safety requirements and recommendations that govern our sport and by doing so we boast the best safety record in our industry!
FACILITIES, AIRCRAFT & EQUIPMENT
Skydive Monterey Bay is located on the Marina Municipal Airport. Housed in a nearly 5000 square foot building, we currently offer: Skydiving Instruction (specializing in 1st time Jumpers), Professional Video and Photography editing and sales, equipment sales and service, skydiving accessories, and parachute rigging services. Our landing area is located here, on the airport and we provide a convenient shuttle service to and from.
We have a couple of jump planes available. We regularly operate the fastest jump aircraft in the World, a twin turbine Super King Air 90 Series that carries up to 15 jumpers to 15,000 feet in 6 minutes, and 18,000 ft. in just under 9 minutes. This Plane is known as the rocket in the skydiving industry and it’s a ton-of-fun to jump from!
State of the art equipment is available for both students and experienced jumpers. We order directly from the manufacturers, and all equipment is built and maintained according to strict FAA regulations.
