As authorities comb through the debris left behind by the Tornado that struck most of the South and the Midwest on Friday and early Saturday, we head over to a candle factory in Kentucky which was hit during its working hours.

So far 50 people have been accounted for as dead due to the tornado and most of the fatalities occurred at a candle factory in Mayfield, Kentucky. The factory had an estimated 110 workers in it when it was struck by the tornado. The latest updates say that eight bodies have been found and eight are missing among the workers who were present at the factory at the time. A spokesperson for the company that owns the factory said that almost 90 people had been found alive among the debris. When the tornado hit the plan was to shelter inside. Governer Andy Beshear said that no one has been rescued from the area since Saturday morning.

Beshear said that the storm has hit more than 1000 homes across the state and the authorities are trying to access the damage. In other states such as Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri search efforts are afoot to find workers stuck in places like the Amazon warehouse.
