Struggles faced by US hotel industry

Data released by the  American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) demonstrated the dismal condition of the hotel industry and the uphill challenges that lie ahead. According to the report, dour out of ten hotel employees are still out of work, Almost two-thirds of 65% of hotels remain below 50 per cent occupancy, urban hotels are suffering the most with occupancy rates of just 38 per cent on an average.
