Data indicates a recovery for the economy
The hospitality sector has been without a doubt, one of the hardest-hit industries due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been a national decline in restaurant bookings across the nation, but this is slowly starting to change. According to data, restaurant bookings are beginning to slowly pick up, which is a positive indicator that the US economy may be on the road to recovery. The number of diners in the country has fallen by 85% compared to last year, but that is still better than the 100% decline which was the case for the month of April and the beginning of May.
