Hotels amidst COVID-19
In the hotels that will reopen and function during the pandemic, expect contactless digital check-in and out, masked and gloved employees and limited buffet options. Hygiene and disinfection will be at the centre of operations to ensure that the risk of infection is minimised. Occupancy levels at chains such as the Hilton remain low. Elevators will be cleaned almost every time they are used and the Hilton is going as far as making sure that a room has not been accessed after deep cleaning by providing an official seal.
