Pandemic Wiped 91,680 Jobs in U.S. Oilfield Services Sector

Barring a handful of sectors across the globe, almost every sector has been severely impacted because of the pandemic. According to a monthly report compiled and published by Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA) on Tuesday, the U.S. oilfield services sector lost 91680 jobs because of the pandemic. With the oil prices at low prices, several oilfield services had to file for bankruptcy and it led to massive job cuts. The sector's employment grew by 0.4% in November. More about this here
