Four steps to deal with from layoffs
Amidst all the layoffs, it's only natural to feel insecure about losing your job. So what does one do if the stress is getting too much to cope with? The biggest step you could take is to communicate, instead of building up make-belief "worst-case" scenarios in your head. Have a conversation with your employer. Express your concerns in a structured manner and request transparency. The only two outcomes that could arise are that you are reassured of your place in the company, or you realize that your worries were legitimate and you can start taking steps to prepare for the layoff and get things in order.
