COVID-19 is hampering the signs of economic recovery
As some Americans take a bizarre stance of not wearing face coverings in public, the coronavirus, as experts had warned multiple times, is beginning to resurge and put a dent in the little recovery we had made. As Americans were cutting their spending, a lot was riding on the reopening of businesses to give spending a boost, but all of that is now being hampered by a great resurgence of the virus which is causing unemployment to increase. the number of first-time applications for unemployment have also been alarmingly high.
