Jobless claims rise as hiring stalls

According to the Labor Department's report that was released on Thursday, there are roughly 10.7 million unemployed people in the US. It also states shows that jobless claims rose to 898,000 because hiring has slowed down. About 3.8 million lost their jobs permanently in September, while 2.4 million remained unemployed for more than 6 months. Read more on this here
