Shell to layoff 9000 people


Royal Dutch Shell, an energy producer, said it is planning to cut 7000-9000 jobs by the end of 2200, considering the slump in demand for oil and it's pricing. About 1500 employees have taken voluntary redundancy, and the company is aiming to secure a savings of $2.2 to 2.5 billion by the end of 2022.  Read more about this here
