As we've seen before, many workers are re-evaluating their prioritise and working conditions. Research shows that burnout is one of the major contributing factors to worker's resignation. A survey conducted shows that 64% of people experienced burn out especially in the last few months this also led to around 70% of workers saying that they would leave their current jobs if they were offered another one with better resources to cope with the burnout. This is more important now that more and more workers are paying attention to their mental health and behavioral troubles, employers have decided to get ahead of this because replacing workers is an expensive task. Two important measures adopted by employers are:

Work Smarter, not Longer: evolution of employees shows that long working hours do not guarantee productivity, in fact, it does quite the opposite and reduces efficiency, makes the employee tired and stressed, and contributes to burnout. Burnout occurs not when there is inefficient work when an employee is capable of doing quality work but is unable to do so because of situations. To ease the working environment, companies are providing

meditation session, stress management counseling, and flexible work timings among other things.

Follow the leader: Studies show that employees will be much more comfortable dealing with burnout and taking time off when they see their leaders and the top brass

doing the same.
