27% rise in fortunes of billionaires
The global pandemic has put millions of people out of job and it has also paved the way and been a catalyst for a lot of changes. One notable thing during this pandemic, as reported by Swiss Bank UBS is that the world's richest saw a hike of about 27.5%. It is interesting to see then, just after a World Bank report tells that extreme poverty is set to rise this year for the first time in more than two decades due to the pandemic.
