Walmart plans to offer delivery services for local businesses

Walmart plans to commercialize its delivery services by using contractual workers, vehicles and even drones to deliver products by other retailers directly to customers' homes. The company aims to offer these services to businesses in local communities and rural areas that struggle to operate their own delivery systems.

The new strategy by the company will now pit it against services like Doordash and Uber. Much like Amazon, Walmart too plans on expanding its sources of profit and revenue to sectors other than retail business. The service named Walmart GoLocal has already signed contracts with national and small businesses.
