Unemployment contracts below 10%
For the first time since March, the unemployment rate has fallen below 10 per cent, but this is certainly no reason to rejoice just yet. The worrisome news is that the rate of hiring has also contracted with every passing month which isn't a good sign considering that millions of jobs will have to be added to make up for the jobs lost since the pandemic.
