Alaska Airlines to give $200 to vaccinated employees
Alaska Airlines has announced that it will offer a $200 bonus to employees who can produce proof of vaccination by October 15th. Currently, three-fourths of the company's employees, nearly 20,000 employees have been vaccinated.
The airlines had earlier mandated vaccines for their employees but have stopped the mandate as a change in their policies. All unvaccinated employees are to be tested regularly for covid 19. Alaska Airlines also announced that they will no longer pay the cover for unvaccinated members in the face of infection or exposure. All unvaccinated employees are also to attend a vaccine education program.
