US jobless claim edge lower but remain at historic high

The number of people with jobless claims might have reduced, but the numbers remain at a historic high. As of the week ending 10th October, 8.4 million people remained unemployed, with the unemployment rate being around 7.9%. These numbers don't indicate things would start getting better any time soon, but with the holiday season coming in and people being optimistic about the entire situation, things could change.
