8000 union jobs expected to be created

Amidst the backdrop of grim news of job cuts and losses, there's a ray of hope. TC Energy Corp. announced on Wednesday morning that it has awarded more than $1.6 billion worth of contracts to six major American union contractors. These contracts were awarded to execute pipeline construction across 3 states and would be about 800 miles. The work is expected to begin in 2021 and would likely create 8000 jobs.
