The cruise industry says 254,000 American jobs

The cruise industry was thriving and directly and indirectly, contributed in many ways. But it's has been severely impacted in 2020 due to the global crisis. A $32 billion loss is estimated and more than 250K people lose their jobs. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent suspension of cruise operations in the U.S. is having a devastating impact on the economy and on those who depend on cruise activity for their livelihoods," Bari Golin-Blaugrund, said vice president of strategic communications for CLIA.
