More than 100 companies will be part of the mega-job fair to be held at Sunrise, this recruitment drive aims to fill over 8000 vacancies.

The fair will take place on Thursday, June 23, from 10 am to 2 pm, at FLA Live Arena, formerly known as the BB&T Centre. Parking is free. The job fair is open to people looking for all levels of employment, starting from entry-level to more experienced management roles. The companies hiring include, but are not limited to, Caremax, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Total Cleaning, Cano Health, Norwegian Cruise Line, American Express, Domino's, Brightstar Credit Union, Broward Sheriff's Office, Jiffy Lube, and the City of Sunrise. Available vacancies include positions like sales, accounts manager, customer service, administrative assistants, warehouse cooks, delivery drivers, housekeeping, technicians, managers, security, and more.

Some of the companies will be doing on-the-spot interviews and making job offers. Interested candidates are advised to pre-register. By registering, you will also get the chance to upload your resume which will allow companies exhibiting at the job fair to access your information, increasing your chance of employability.

Dress professionally as you would for a job interview

Have a personalized pitch practiced to perfection which will neatly summarize all your skills and experience

Make a good first and lasting impression with each recruiter

Do not forget to bring copies of your updated CV or resume.
