Amazon opens Akron fulfillment center
The tech giant Amazon has managed to do exceptionally well even in one of the worst economic outlook. It has managed to increase its revenue significantly and created a lot of jobs as well. Akron's 640,000-square-foot center Amazon fulfillment center is officially open but they are still hiring. "Employees at this site will play integral roles within Amazon's customer fulfillment operations — everything from receiving inventory, picking and shipping customer orders, and supporting network logistics by working alongside Amazon Robotics," Amazon spokesman Andre Woodson said in an email.
