Workers shortage in Alabama Chick-fil-A outlets
The restaurant chain Chick-fil-A shuts many of their dining rooms and services as they face a staffing crisis. Many outlets in Alabama have limited the number of orders and delivery services as fewer applicants applied for jobs at Chick-fil-A. The company confirmed that some of their dining-room services were temporarily shut due to staffing troubles and covid-19 cases.
Brad Johnson, the location's operator for the chain commented that most applicants only took the job to resign in the first week. While the restaurant business and the hospitality sector struggle to retain employees due to reasons like burnout, another Alabama fast-food outlet Dave's Pizza posted social media ads that said "We will literally hire anyone".
