What caused the unanticipated dip in US unemployment?

According to federal data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics last Friday, there was a surprising dip in the unemployment rate, which dropped to 13.3 per cent in the month of May. While some were thrilled to hear this, claiming to be on the road to smooth recovery, some analysts have warned to reexamine the data which isn't as exciting as it seems. Besides unequal unemployment rates amidst people of color and white people, there is also the question of furloughed workers, millions of them may have been misclassified as employed when they should have been categorized as employed.
