The service sector has seen some form of positive signs with it rising above pre-pandemic levels. However, the construction sector has hadn't that kind of luck. About 67% of 358 US metro areas saw a decline in construction employment. Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, Texas and New York City saw the maximum loss with 22,800 and 21,700 respectively in comparison to August 2019 numbers. Read more about this here
