Google's return-to-office date pushed to 2022

Google delays its return-to-office date yet again, announcing that employees can continue working remotely till next year. Sundar Pichai, in a note to his employees, announced that employees wouldn't have to work from offices at least until January 10, 2022. Similar decisions have also been taken by Amazon and Facebook recently.

This is Google's second delay in recent months for a full office return due to the spread of the Delta variant. The company announced that all employees will receive a 30-days heads up before offices reopen.
