The unemployment rate will drop below 5% in 2021
America has seen one of the worst spells in terms of employment. Millions of people lost their jobs as the country was under restrictions given the virus. However, U.S. Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia believes the unemployment rate will drop below 5% in 2021. It won't be an easy task for sure but ''is attainable' because of Operation Warp Speed. Operation Warp Speed's goal is to produce and deliver 300 million doses of safe and effective vaccines with the initial doses available by January 2021, as part of a broader strategy to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics,” according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
