Data scientist has been America's number one job since 2016. With an average salary of $111,200 and average job satisfaction of 4.25 out of 5, data scientist was at the top of the heap four years. However, that's not the case this year according to Glassdoor's annual ranking. That doesn't take away from the fact that it is still a niche job and has massive potential.
